The Henley Festival has given us this wonderful opportunity to showcase a wide range of contemporary Argentine Art. Our very special thanks go to Festival Director Stewart Collins and his team for all their enthusiastic help and encouragement.

Traditionally, Argentine artists have looked to Europe for much of their inspiration and now, given Britain’s pole position in the world of contemporary art, it is not surprising that so many are living and working here today.
Promoting the visual arts is among the aims and objectives of the Anglo-Argentine Society.

The Society also provides a focal point and social activities for the many British people with family connections in Argentina, or who have lived and worked there.

With the new interest in Argentina, with tourist numbers rising very substantially over the past few years, the Society welcomes the many new members who have discovered a taste for the land of the gaucho, tango, beef and wine, huge landscapes, magnificent scenery and the vibrant capital city, Buenos Aires.
